Sometimes I experiment with different materials just to see how they feel in daily life. Bad lenses can cause eye strain, reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. I also pay attention to return policy and customer service response time. If you sit in front of a screen for many hours, these small features make a difference. If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

I try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe. For coats and blazers I usually go one size up if I want to layer sweaters under them. Trendy pieces are fun, but I only buy them when the price is reasonable. I think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things.
